The road to white fair skin…
Here's an initial review of Snow Caps L-Glutathione.
First off, I’d like to tell you that this is not a paid advertisement. I had to pay for the product myself, thanks to the early release of my 13th Month Pay.
Here's an initial review of Snow Caps L-Glutathione.
First off, I’d like to tell you that this is not a paid advertisement. I had to pay for the product myself, thanks to the early release of my 13th Month Pay.
I went shopping the other
day for my usual beauty regimen which composes of a facial cleanser, toner, and
cream. This time, I’m very much willing to spare some cash for a glutathione
product. I’ve always wanted to try some but because I always end up short in budget, I had to cut it off my wish list.
I asked the pharmacist (Watsons - Candon City Branch) what glutathione capsules are available in store and she said they have two: Snow Caps L-Glutathione and Belo Nutraceuticals + Collagen. Reading some reviews online, there are a lot of positive ones about Belo Nutraceuticals, but Snow Caps have been the one I've planned to buy ever since. So for awhile, I weighed down those two options.
Snow Caps contains 30 capsules with 500mg L-Glutathione reduced which is priced at Php 1,492.50, while Belo Nutraceuticals has 60 capsules with 250 glutathione content at Php 2,100+ (can't remember the exact price but that's already discounted. Naka-promo sila).
I had to trust my instinct, I chose Snow Caps! It’s cheaper compared to Belo's kahit na naka-promo sila. Bonus na rin that Snow Caps comes with free Snow Whitening Soap (Dunno if it will help boost the effects of gluta. We'll see...).
I
have warm skin tone and light brown complexion. So it would be fair if I give the product three months maximum to prove its effects. This is my first to try the product, and the first of maybe a hundred or more brands of glutathione products. Unlike those reviews I've read where the author almost have fair complexion and have already tried various glutathione products prior, and some na maputi naman na talaga ever since pinanganak sila that's why I have my doubts on the effectiveness of the products, and credibility of the reviews.
Unboxing Snow Caps. Make sure it's sealed!
Inside the box are 30 capsules and the product description, nothing more. Full inspection na pero yun lang talaga ang laman. I was expecting na sana nagkamali sa packaging and there are 10 more capsules pero wala talaga. *kidding* :D
I’ve
read somewhere that Glutathione increases its effects when taken with Vitamin C. Although Snow Caps already has 100mg Vitamin C, I still bought a separate one (Sodium Ascorbate para less acidity). And since it's a dietary supplement, Vitamin
E has no side effects when taken with glutathione so there is no reason to
slash Vit.E out of my daily beauty routine. Besides, I have been taking Vitamin E for
almost 2 years.
Obviously, I'm taking glutathione not for anything but skin whitening. The plan is to take 2 caps (AM/PM), 2 caps Vitamin C, and 1 cap Vitamin E every day. I'm on experimental stage. I didn't ask any professional about this. I purely relied on what I've read and came up with this idea so if you think it's too much or there's another (effective) way then feel free to comment down below. I am very much open to any suggestions.
If you want to know if it works, I'll make it a point to update you guys of any progress..
