Belo Nutraceuticals Glutathione with Collagen Review

Disappointing yung previous glutathione capsules na sinubukan ko and I’m up to trying another one… this time, it is Belo Nutraceuticals Glutathione with Collagen! Lakas maka-hype ng Belo glutathione, sikat na mga artista kasi ang nasa commercials.
Here in the Philippines, when someone has a beautiful skin, people would say “Alagang Belo yan!” Belo has an excellent reputation when it comes to pangmalakasang pagandahan. Most of its clientele includes the biggest stars in show business.

Belo Glutathione with Collagen is not new as it has been in the market way back 2011. Pero dahil hampaslupa ako noon pa man, hindi ko maafford ang isang bote.

As I am to compare it with my previous gluta capsule (Snow Caps L-Glutathione), it has lower Glutathione content at 250mg but contains 50mg Alpha Lipoic Acid, 50mg Hydroxyproline, 25mg Sodium Ascorbate, Coenzyme Q10 and Marine Collagen at 3mg each, and Magnesium Stearate.

The Glutathione and Sodium Ascorbate content, I am very much familiar with… all others, I have no idea.

Alpha-lipoic Acid is an antioxidant; naturally occurring fatty acid that can be found in many foods such as yeast, spinach, broccoli, potatoes, and organ meats such as liver or kidney. It has been used in alternative medicine as a possibly effective aid in weight loss, treating diabetic nerve pain, healing wounds, lowering blood sugar, improving skin discoloration caused by vitiligo, and decreasing complications of coronary artery bypass graft surgery. Hydroxyproline is necessary for the construction of the body's major structural protein, collagen. (https://www.springboard4health.com/notebook/proteins_hydroxyproline.html)

Magnesium Stearate is often used as an anti-adherent in the manufacture of medical tablets, capsules and powders. In this regard, the substance is also useful, because it has lubricating properties, preventing ingredients from sticking to manufacturing equipment during the compression of chemical powders into solid tablets; magnesium stearate is the most commonly used lubricant for tablets. Marine Collagen is a fibrous protein extracted from the scales or skin of saltwater fish, including cod and salmon. Marine collagen has antioxidant properties that have been used in skin-care products to prevent or even repair the damage caused by environmental factors, such as UV rays and low humidity, as well as damage associated with the aging process. (http://www.livestrong.com/article/208122-benefits-of-marine-collagen/)

and, Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a natural antioxidant synthesized by the body, found in many foods, and available as a supplement. It is a vital participant in the chain of metabolic chemical reactions that generate energy within cells. (https://www.drweil.com/vitamins-supplements-herbs/vitamins/coenzyme-q10-coq10/)

Oh di ba? Effort sa pagreresearch!

Looks like there’s so much in every capsule. Generally speaking, with those contents, I can say that Belo’s Glutathione with Collagen is promising.

As per direction, the gluta capsules are to be taken twice a day (AM and PM) with or without meal. In addition, Vitamins C and E are there to help speed up the whitening process. *hopeful*

I bought my Belo Gluta Capsule with Collagen 60 capsules at Watsons priced Php2,500.00. It’s way way too expensive when compared with other brands but I am set to finding out how powerful those little gluta capsules are.

I am hoping Belo Nutraceuticals Glutathione with Collagen won't disappoint. *fingers crossed*

[UPDATE]

Here's my verdict:

Same with the previous glutathione tablets I tried, I didn't notice any remarkable change in my skin. Although  feeling ko glowing ang skin ko, but NO WHITENING OF SKIN. Of course dun sa pag-glow ng skin let's not discount the fact that along with the gluta caps, sinabayan ko din ng pagtake ng Vitamin E (Myra E).

There was no specific time ng pagtake ko. Iba-iba kasi. but I usually take 1 cap in the morning bago pumasok ng work (no food intake pero nagkakape muna ako before taking one) and another before sleep.

For the benefit of the doubt, I only tried it for a month taking 2 tablets per day. Maybe mas effective if continuous ang pag-take. Maybe 2-3 months? Pero wala na akong pambili. Waaaahhhh!!!! :'-(
