Hotel Luna: A Rare Gem Right at the Heart of Vigan City

Byaheng norte ulit tayo mga beshy! This time I think I found the most beautiful hotel I have ever been to. I know it's not a budget hotel pero sobrang natuwa lang ako kasi when I booked a room it's 50+% less. This hotel is located here in Ilocos.

So anong meron sa norte? As usual, maulan when I arrived in the heritage city of Vigan, the capital of Ilocos Sur. *wink*

So ano namang hotel itong balak kong bulabugin? This hotel I am talking about is Hotel Luna. It prides itself to be the first and only museum hotel in the Philippines...and it is listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO! So luxury, comfort, and history all mixed into one.

Nakaka-excite! Ikaw ba naman ma-try pumasok at mag-stay kahit isang gabi lang sa isang 4-star hotel in the province of Ilocos Sur di ba?

Went straight to the reception. Told them about my booking. I was asked to fill out a form, show an ID, gave me the key card then they insructed me how to get to my room.

The bed!

May in-room safe, emergency flash light in case walang kuryente at thank God! may provided na payong plus extra pillows and beddings.

Nakakatempt kainin lahat!

Ang toilet bowl na hi-tech! Nakakabobo gamitin.

The sink and toiletries. Inuwi ko lahat yan. Sayang eh.

Charaught!

Ang na-book ko is the Standard Queen Room.

A rare gem right at the heart of the city's Heritage Village, Hotel Luna boasts "old meets new" vibe. I love how they incorporated modern fixtures without compromising its distinct vintage characteristics. It's an excellent choice for its close proximity to local restaurants and attractions. You get to enjoy the best of Vigan City a few steps away.

Room was small but clean and comfortable. Furniture were strategically placed to give it more space. With flat screen TV, good air conditioning, mini bar, and WiFi. Not to mention the hi-tech toilet seat! Ha ha

Free welcome drinks and a breakfast buffet with wide range of local foods. (Sayang lang kasi 'di ko na-avail yung free drinks and late ako nagising kinabukasan. Tinawagan pa ako for breakfast.

Customer Service is beyond expectation! Staff were all smiles, welcoming and accommodating.

There's a mini pool; a rooftop which I wasn't able to enjoy (It was raining during my stay); and a mini museum which I have yet to visit.

There are so much good things to say about the hotel. It was a lovely experience! And still hoping to come back! Antagal naman kasi ni Mr. Right!

Yan ang view papunta ng room ko. Para akong nasa mansion!

...at dahil maulan, walang masyadong ganap.

Walking in the rain ang drama!
I wanted to see nga din sana their rooftop kaso wala talaga. Nakakainis! Nakapamasyal na lang ako the day after. So have a look at some pictures I took from around world renowned Calle Crisologo. Ha ha. Feeling photographer ang peg!

Pwede na bang maging photog?

PS:
If you've reached this part of my post, I want to Thank you already for taking the time! I need help please! As you've noticed there's extreme flare in the photos I've taken using my iPhone 8 Plus most especially when taking pictures with light. Frustrating! How can I fix it?
